Niigata, Japan
Built on the shining Japan sea coast, this 27 hole par 108 course was founded in 1973 and has been a popular member’s course since. Close to the beach of Hamanasu, this seaside course is built on beautiful sand dunes covered with a natural pine and cypress forest. The course is moderately undulating and large red pine trees are often found in key strategic locations forcing you to shape your shots into the greens. Ponds and bunkers are arranged in key places to enhance the strategy required to play this course. This along with the trade winds from the nearby sea and you will feel both refreshed and pressured from tee to green. Not only was it set as a regular player’s course, but it has also twice played host to the Niigata Open Golf Championship Tour event.
