Golf at Goodwood sits on the sprawling Goodwood Estate that has been home to the Dukes of Richmond & Lennox for 300 years. A visit to this five-star special retreat will provide you with some exceptional experiences.

Legendary golf architect and five-time Masters winner, James Braid, laid out the Downs Course in 1914. The championship Downs course has recently been ranked in Golf World Magazine’s Top 100 English Courses. The combination of its trademark James Braid doglegs, undulating greens and dramatic changes of level, combined with stunning views of Chichester Cathedral, the Solent and the Isle of Wight make the Downs course a truly special golfing experience.

The Park Course, designed by renowned golf architect and player, Donald Steel, winds effortlessly around the beautiful 18th Century parkland surrounding Goodwood House. The Park Course, which surrounds the flint walls of Goodwood House and the three hundred year old Cedar trees may seem less of a challenge, but its tricky switchbacks and devilish bunkers are enough to keep any golfer on their toes.

When not golfing, check out the Goodwood Motor Circuit powered by BMW and sharpen your driving skills. Or, indulge your flying fantasies at the Goodwood Aerodrome and take flight in a WWII Harvard Warbird or take a flying lesson in a Cessna aircraft.

Whatever your passion, Goodwood is a spectacular experience providing warm lodging and dining hospitality located 90 minutes by train from center London and close to the historic town of Southampton.
